Mounted Games at the WEG

Mounted Games combine gymkhana‑ type races with English saddles to create the extreme games of the equestrian world. Riders compete in teams of four or in relay races, which are actually a series of tests of horsemanship involving a variety of skills:

•Leaping onto galloping ponies and horses

•Popping balloons at full gallop

•Dunking tennis balls into buckets

•Jousting at targets.

While this may seem like fun and games, which it is, the competition at this level is fierce!
